Purpose:
The Fluid Mechanics Laboratory was established to help students deepen their understanding of the fundamental theories of fluid mechanics through experimental visualization and hands-on verification. The laboratory provides opportunities for students to experimentally validate and interpret various fluid mechanics theories, enabling them to build a solid foundation for studying fluid-related subjects and cultivating outstanding professionals in power mechanical engineering.
1. This laboratory supports the teaching needs of the following courses: Fluid Mechanics Laboratory, Fluid Mechanics, Fluid Machinery, Heat Transfer, Fluid Dynamics, and Aerodynamics.
2. It also supports research projects conducted by faculty members and students, integrating theoretical knowledge with practical applications.
Objectives:
1. Enable students to verify and understand the principles of fluid mechanics.
2. Enable students to test the performance of fluid machinery and plot characteristic curves.
3. Cultivate students' rigorous and practical experimental attitude.
